Between the dates 11-12/09/2023, the Cybercrime Subdivision, in collaboration with the National Unit of Europol, organized a training activity on the use of the SIRIUS platform. Twenty members of the Police attended the training at the facilities of the Electronic Crime Subdivision. The training is conducted by two trainers from Europol.

Europol has developed the SIRIUS platform with the aim of facilitating structured communication between Law Enforcement Authorities and various service providers such as Google, Facebook, cryptocurrency exchanges, etc.

Contact points for this platform have been designated representatives of the Cybercrime Subdivision, who facilitate communication between Police members and these companies within the framework of criminal investigations.

This specific activity is part of the ongoing development of our personnel's capabilities.
